Anti-Ragging Committee

Ragging is strictly prohibited in our institution. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every student can pursue academic and personal growth without fear, harassment, or discrimination. The Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to prevent ragging in all forms and to ensure discipline, harmony, and mutual respect among students.

The committee works in accordance with the guidelines issued by the relevant educational and regulatory authorities. It actively promotes awareness regarding the harmful effects of ragging and encourages students to maintain a healthy and supportive campus culture.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee

  • To prevent ragging and ensure a ragging-free campus.

Functions of the Committee

  • Taking immediate action against individuals involved in ragging.
  • Coordinating with faculty members, wardens, and student representatives to maintain discipline.

Anti-Ragging Policy

Our institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found involved in ragging activities, directly or indirectly, shall face strict disciplinary action as per institutional rules and government regulations. Actions may include suspension, expulsion, fines, or legal proceedings depending on the severity of the offense.

Student Responsibility

Students are encouraged to:

  • Refrain from any behavior that may cause physical or mental harassment.
  • Report ragging incidents immediately to the committee or administration.
